Advocacy

EEAO broadens interest in and support for environmental education by educating community leaders, elected officials and influential decision-makers about the value, academic benefits and positive impacts of environmental education.

EEAO staff, board and members visit regularly with Oregon's state legislators in Salem and our U.S. Congressional delegation in Washington, D.C. providing information for our senators and representatives to make well-informed decisions about legislation that impacts environmental education.
