Join the No Oregon Child Left Inside Coalition!
The No
Oregon Child Left Inside Coalition was instrumental in supporting NOCLI
during the 2009 Oregon Legislative session. We invite you to join our
continued efforts to reconnect Oregon youth with the natural world.
Coalition members are diverse, including educational, natural
resources, environmental, health and business interests across Oregon.
By joining the coalition you are enabling the Coalition leaders to
utilize your organization's name and constituency to demonstrate the
need for NOCLI. Our expectation is that all Coalition members will
keep organizational affiliates informed of NOCLI's progress. There is
no cost to join.
To be a member of the Coalition:
- Alert
your organization's membership and leadership about the importance of
environmental education and the No Oregon Child Left Inside Act
- Educate
your state legislators about the need for the No Oregon Child Left
Inside Act and how it will benefit their constituents. To find out who your legislators are, visit the Oregon State Legislature "Find Your Legislator".
- Sign on to Coalition letters to Oregon State Legislators as appropriate.
- Write letters to the editor or op-eds for your local newspaper. Read Talking Points on NOCLI.
- Send updates to your members as they become available from the Coalition
