EEAO's Environmental Education Directory

Another recent accomplishment was the launching of the EEAO Resource Directory. This online, searchable environmental education resources directory will serve as Oregon's only statewide clearinghouse of environmental education resources.  Nonformal environmental educators, teachers, students and the general public visiting the EEAO web site are able to easily identify resources and events by topic area, provider organization, watershed, age/grade level, benchmark and numerous other categories.

Southern Oregon Regional Environmental Education Leaders

Southern Oregon Environmental Education Leaders (SOREEL) is a collaborative network of Southern Oregon "out-of-the-classroom" educators and educators-in-training.

Participants have represented organizations spanning the entire region including outdoor schools, nature centers, public lands agencies, historical societies, museums, and Southern Oregon University.

Regional Environmental Education Network

EcoEd is the listserv for the Regional Environmental Education Network (REEN for short), a loosely associated group of environmental educators. REEN began in the Portland-Vancouver Metro area, but now includes educators from further afield in NW Oregon and SW Washington. The two principal benefits of participating in REEN are attending the irregularly scheduled meetings and sharing ideas and information on the EcoEd listserv. Anyone with an interest in environmental education is welcome to participate in either of these.

REEN has no dues, no official mission, nor any elected officials. We get together seasonally to find out what other educators are doing, to visit educational/natural sites, and to enjoy each others company and advice.
