A team of EEAO members participated in a unique leadership development clinic hosted by the National Environmental Education Advancement Project. The clinic modeled leadership development processes and techniques and provided the team with tools to implement the leadership clinic model in Oregon. The team has continued their work to plan regional, water-shed based events throughout Oregon. The main goals of this initiative are to:
-
Facilitate connections among diverse groups of formal and non-formal educators to create a community of support and shared resources.
-
Generate community engagement projects with educational focus for local watershed health.
